About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer (w/m/d) at High Q Laser GmbH, part of MKS, you will work closely with global teams to design, develop, and support software interfaces for high‐tech laser systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing software interfaces to communicate with laser systems, test equipment, and production hardware
• Ensuring reliable data handling and traceability, including interaction with SQL databases using Entity Framework (EF6)
• Supporting manufacturing operations, troubleshooting software issues in production and implementing sustainable solutions
• Collaborating cross‐functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Automation teams to support new product introductions and process changes

Qualifications

• Several years of job-related work experience
• Strong experience in C# software development
• Experience with SQL databases using Entity Framework 6 (EF6)
• Fluent German & English (spoken and written)
