In a nutshell: In interdisciplinary project teams, you and your team will take on varied tasks in technically demanding, customer-specific software projects across the entire engineering process. From requirements analysis and functional/technical system design to programming and implementation, quality assurance, and project management. The projects are based on the proven Java / JavaScript stack (web frontends with Java backends) and AI processes (often in the Python stack).

Responsibilities

• Conception and Development: You will work in the areas of conception, development, and design of Java and AI applications in an agile project environment.
• Conceive Microservice Architectures: You will conceive and implement modern microservice architectures and distributed systems comprehensively.
• Project Support: You will carefully support solutions from the initial idea to go-live.

Requirements

• Strong Background: You bring a strong background in Java backend development, AI programming, and software engineering.
• Java Backend Development: Several years of experience in Java backend development of web-based, scalable systems and applications with various databases and frameworks (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate) in an agile project environment will help you master all challenges. You enjoy guiding customers through digital transformation into state-of-the-art processes.
• AI Programming: Several years of experience in programming AI use cases with various frameworks.
• Generative AI: You have an interest in generative AI (GenAI, GPT, Gemini, Llama, LangChain/LlamaIndex, and more) and initial experience in MLOps.
• Language Skills: Very good German and good English skills.
