Your Tasks

• You build it, you run it! You are responsible for the design, implementation, and smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure and services that drive the STACKIT Marketplace – with a clear focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Integration Master: You develop and automate the seamless integration of external cloud solutions (whether SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, or container images) into the STACKIT Marketplace ecosystem.
• Automation Guru: Your skills are in demand when it comes to developing and implementing automation scripts and smart tools that take the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and operation of the Marketplace to the next level.
• Performance & Stability Champion: You proactively ensure that our Marketplace platform is always running at full speed, highly available, and reacts lightning-fast to problems – and you continuously optimize it.
• Security & Compliance Keeper: You not only implement best practices for security but also ensure that the Marketplace meets the strict STACKIT compliance requirements and data protection standards – because security is our credo.
• Teamplayer & Visionary: You work closely with our Product Owners to transform visions into technical reality and act as a bridge builder between the engineering teams to guarantee perfect interaction with STACKIT's core cloud services.
• Mentor & Coach: You gladly pass on your knowledge! You assist your junior colleagues with advice and support and help them to continuously expand their expertise.

Your Profile

• Cloud Expert through and through: You have (several years of) experience in application development, cloud engineering, DevOps, or SRE and are a master of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation.
• Platform Specialist: Whether Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP – you are familiar with common cloud platforms and think in cloud-native architectures.
• Code Crack: You master Golang for application development, automation, or the development of your own tools. Experience in other programming languages is a plus!
• Container Expert: Docker and Kubernetes are your second home. Deployment, management, and troubleshooting are easy for you!
• CI/CD Junkie: You know how to make Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or FluxCD pipelines fly and ideally have experience with them.
• Network Ninja: VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, load balancing – cloud networks are not new territory for you.
• Monitoring Magician: You skillfully juggle the Grafana stack and other tools to monitor platform health and solve problems before they arise.
• Problem Solver: Complex technical challenges? Your analytical and problem-solving skills are unbeatable.
• Team Player: You are a communication professional and enjoy working agilely in a team that pushes each other.
• Communication Professional: English in spoken and written form is a must, as we are internationally positioned. German language skills are a plus!
