Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) - Billing & Pricing Platform

Your Mission

Every kilowatt-hour that RABOT delivers to customers must be correctly priced, billed, and processed in real-time. Dynamic tariffs, different product lines, growing customer numbers: Our billing and pricing systems are the financial backbone of the company. You are responsible for the "truth" of our business.

You will develop and scale the backend services that process complex pricing logic and financial transactions. You will work independently on tough problems, bring architectural vision, and help the team scale through clean code, solid patterns, and shared standards. You are not just a developer; you are the guardian of our platform's reliability.

Your Results

We won't throw you in the deep end, but we expect you to learn to swim. After 12 months, your success will look like this:

Month 3 (Ramp-up):

• You are fully independent in our codebase.
• You deliver complex tasks, weigh technical trade-offs against business timelines, and conduct sharp code reviews that elevate your colleagues' implementations to a higher level.
• You provide strategic input to the Platform Team's leadership.
• You have identified and resolved friction points in communication between our services and other teams.
• You are an active contributor to the Backend Chapter.

Month 12:

• You lead development initiatives in the Backend Chapter that create value for the entire organization.
• You conceptualize and lead cross-domain initiatives, coordinating multiple teams as needed, to ensure the Platform Team's responsibilities are met at the highest level.

• Analytical Communicator: You distill complex backend challenges into clear narratives for your team and stakeholders. You are resilient, structured, and thrive when demands and growth are high.
• Pattern Thinker: Your eyes light up when discussing DDD, CQRS, and Clean Architecture. You have a deep appreciation for software patterns and know that "done" also means maintainable and well-tested.
