Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) - Cloud-Native (AWS & Kubernetes)

About

As a Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d), you will take end-to-end responsibility for our backend services and their operation. Your work will range from architecture and implementation to infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and incident management.

What You'll Do

• Develop robust, scalable backend services based on Java and Spring Boot.
• Be responsible for the production operation and maintenance of our services in AWS.
• Automate infrastructure and platform components with Terraform.
• Develop and maintain GitLab CI pipelines for build, tests, security checks, and deployment.
• Analyze system behavior during operation, implement observability (logs, metrics, tracing), and continuously increase resilience and stability.
• Take technical responsibility within the team, drive standards forward, and contribute best practices for architecture, infrastructure, and operational processes.
• Work closely with your team in an XP-like setup (pairing, iteration, continuous improvement).
