Overview

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer (Python/Go) to join a modern platform engineering team operating Kubernetes at massive scale across global environments.

This role focuses on building highly scalable automation, orchestration and platform solutions used to deploy and manage thousands of Kubernetes clusters worldwide. The environment combines cloud-native engineering, infrastructure automation, APIs, and large-scale distributed systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on experience with Python and/or Go, and enjoys taking ownership across the full software lifecycle ? from architecture and implementation to deployment and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and platform tooling using Python and/or Go
• Design and implement automation and orchestration solutions for large-scale Kubernetes environments
• Write technical design documents and RFCs
• Ensure high-quality automated testing and maintainable code standards
• Contribute to engineering best practices and support continuous improvement within the team
• Collaborate closely with platform, infrastructure and cloud engineering teams
• Participate in open-source contributions where relevant

Must-Have Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in large-scale or high-growth environments
• Strong experience building scalable distributed systems and modern software architectures
• Recent hands-on experience with Python and/or Go
• Strong Kubernetes knowledge (usage, concepts, operations)
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS
• Experience with test automation frameworks (ideally pytest)
• Strong ownership mindset and proactive working style
• Fluent English communication skills
