Senior QA Software Engineer

Mission

As part of the Yuh team, you will be responsible for and manage quality across the entire Yuh Mobile App ecosystem (iOS, Android, and Backend). You will ensure high-quality releases by integrating robust testing practices throughout the development lifecycle, while also leading quality assurance, mentoring team members, and continuously improving test standards and processes using AI. You will work closely with the product team, designers, software developers, and other stakeholders at Swissquote to deliver a reliable, scalable, and high-performing product.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and evolve the QA strategy and technical roadmap for the platform.
• Coordinate QA activities across projects and teams, acting as a point of reference for other QA engineers.
• Mentor and support QA team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Create, maintain, and implement detailed test plans, assisting in defining acceptance criteria for various scenarios.
• Apply testing methods for product quality assurance and accessibility requirements, identifying areas for improvement and test cases.
• Develop test programs in close collaboration with engineers, product owners, designers, and business analysts.
• Establish and track key quality metrics to guide decisions.
• Identify gaps in quality processes and lead initiatives to enhance product reliability and user experience.
• Evaluate and introduce tools (including AI-powered testing solutions) to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Act as a quality ambassador across teams, influencing engineering and product.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in software quality assurance for mobile testing (iOS/Android).
• Proven experience in a Senior or Lead QA role with responsibility for tests and processes.
• Proven experience in delivering test frameworks, manual testing, and test tools.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and the DevOps SDLC.
• Proactive and adaptable in a fast-growing environment.
• High attention to detail, including UI/UX quality and consistency (Android / iOS).
• Familiar with CI/CD Jenkins pipeline, Android Studio, Xcode, Espresso, Appium, XCUI, Postman, Firebase, SQL/Oracle.
• Good knowledge of accessibility is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools is a strong plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Allure TestOps is a strong plus.
• Knowledge in financial products and banking is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
