What You Will Contribute

As a Senior Software Engineer with our Radar Modeling and Simulation team, you'll utilize your expertise to develop high-performance C++ software. Your impactful contributions will enhance radar modeling, scene modeling, signal processing, and control systems within simulation and digital twin frameworks.

You will leverage a systems engineering mindset to ensure the delivery of reliable radar simulations, mentor junior engineers, influence technical direction, and collaborate with architects to create exceptional solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with technical leaders and architects on design and integration decisions while engaging in hands‑on C++ development.
  • Design, implement, and maintain advanced C++ software for radar and scene modeling, signal processing, and control processing components.
  • Actively participate in code and design reviews, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Guide junior engineers and promote systems thinking across your team.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable Agile tasks and engage in the full Agile process, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Conduct verification activities, including regression testing, to ensure software changes have the desired impact.
  • Analyze system data to build confidence in your solutions prior to customer delivery.
  • Enhance legacy codebases by applying best software engineering practices.
  • Serve as a key technical contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support automation and regression testing efforts to improve tooling and system reliability.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field, with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience.
  • Strong experience in C++ or a similar object‑oriented programming language.
  • Ability to obtain and uphold a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level (U.S. Citizenship required).

Desired Skills

  • Advanced degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong foundation in mathematics including linear algebra, statistical analysis, and signal processing.
  • Familiarity with radar systems and modeling tools.
