Overview

To strengthen our Authorisation, Clearing and Settlement (ACS) team, we are looking for an experienced and technically adept individual as a Senior Software Engineer – Realtime Systems (m/f/d).

In this role, you will work on our central authorization and routing system GANS, which is a key component in global payment processing. You will take responsibility for business-critical real-time applications and ensure stable and performant technical communication within the platform.

Your Responsibilities

• Further development and operation of our real-time authorization platform (GANS)
• Implementation and configuration of technical communication processes
• Work with IP connections, line handlers, and session handlers
• Analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization in a highly available system landscape
• Ensuring the performance and stability of our applications
• Close collaboration with internal business and development teams

What You Should Bring

• Several years of experience in software development, ideally in the area of highly available systems
• Experience with real-time applications
• Very good understanding of network technologies and IP-based communication
• Experience in configuring and developing technical interfaces
• Good knowledge of C, C++, or comparable programming languages
• Analytical mindset as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Fluent German language skills (at least C1)
