Senior Software Engineer – Référent Technique DataLab H/F

About

Under the responsibility of the DataLab Manager, you will guarantee the technical excellence and sustainability of our software assets. Your missions will be divided into four major areas:

Architecture and Technological Watch

• Ensure the technical consistency, maintainability, and performance of all our applications.
• Directly intervene on the most critical and complex development components.
• Maintain an active technological watch to keep the DataLab state-of-the-art.

Technical Referent and Mentoring

• Supervise and support the skill development of a team of developers (junior and experienced).
• Promote a culture of knowledge sharing, code review, and good development practices.

Process Optimization and Innovation

• Consolidate and modernize our development tools (software lifecycle, automation).
• Define and integrate the use of generative AI within our development workflows to gain efficiency and quality.

Business Interface

• Collaborate closely with microelectronics business experts to translate industrial needs into robust technical specifications.

Candidate Profile

Required Technical Skills

• Python Expertise: Advanced mastery of the language and its ecosystem.
• Full-Stack Development: Ability to work across the entire application value chain.
• Software Quality: Absolute requirement for testing (unit, integration), documentation, and adherence to architectural patterns.
• DevOps Environment: Mastery of containers (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.

Appreciated Skills (Bonus)

• Mastery of Python web frameworks, ideally Plotly Dash.
• Knowledge or interest in the microelectronics sector.
• Practical experience with LLMs and AI-assisted development tools.

Required Experience and Qualities

• Experience: Minimum 7 years in software engineering with proven achievements in a production environment.
• Rigor: Methodical approach to development and complex problem-solving.
• Pedagogy: Natural ability to transmit knowledge and rally around technical choices.
