Senior Software Engineer

THE ROLE

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will drive the design and development of an edge platform powering real-time applications. You’ll build systems that run in resource-constrained environments, enabling reliable, scalable execution of data and machine learning workloads. This is a hands-on, high-impact role working across engineering and applied research, where you’ll take ownership of core platform components and influence how systems are built and run.

IN THIS ROLE

• Design and build core platform components, APIs, and SDKs for edge environments
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of real-time applications, from development to deployment and operation
• Work directly with data scientists and ML engineers to turn prototypes into production systems
• Bridge the gap between research and engineering, making solutions robust and scalable
• Shape the technical direction and architecture of the platform
• Drive code quality, observability, and system reliability across the stack

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• 5+ years of experience building real-world software systems, ideally in real-time or data-intensive environments
• Strong programming skills in Rust (preferred), C++, Go, or similar
• Experience working with distributed or edge systems in production
• Solid understanding of deployment, monitoring, and observability
• Strong Python skills, especially in data or ML-related workflows
• Proven ability to turn complex ideas into practical, working solutions
• Comfortable working across engineering and research boundaries
