Position: Senior Software Engineer, Salesforce

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering exceptional Salesforce solutions. This position combines your technical expertise with collaborative problem-solving, driving innovation that aligns with our business goals. You'll tackle complex challenges and create scalable solutions for our enterprise applications.

What You'll Do

Technical Design & Development

• Design and implement sophisticated Salesforce solutions for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications.
• Utilize Agentforce and AI-driven capabilities to develop effective solutions.
• Build complex automation using Flow Builder.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Apex code following best practices.
• Create integration solutions using REST APIs and other tools.

Platform Innovation & Optimization

• Proactively recommend features from Salesforce releases that deliver business value.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues leveraging your in-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture.
• Employ AI-assisted development tools to enhance delivery and code quality.
• Utilize advanced developer tools for effective monitoring and analysis.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Participate in design sessions and provide valuable architectural insights.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and architectural decision-making.
• Mentor team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Provide input on the team's project portfolio.

Specialized Focus Areas

• Design hierarchical data models and CI dependencies.
• Implement ITIL Service Configuration Management principles.
• Develop automated data normalization rules.

What You'll Bring

Required Experience & Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with a proven track record.
• Expertise in Apex development and associated patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Agentforce, Agent Builder, and Salesforce AI functionalities.
• Experience with Lightning Web Components and the Lightning UI framework.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and various integration patterns.
• Thorough understanding of Salesforce platform fundamentals.
• Test automation experience including Apex tests and regression testing.
• Solid configuration and customization skills in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Proficient in using Git and modern IDEs, along with CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I & II, Administrator).

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Familiarity with Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, and CLI tools.
• Knowledge of MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform for enterprise orchestrations.
• Experience with AppExchange development and managed packages.
• Understanding of CMDB and ITIL Service Configuration.

The typical base salary range for this position is $148,500 - $223,900 annually, influenced by factors such as location and expertise. In the San Francisco and New York City areas, this may range from $178,900 - $246,000 annually. Note that this range includes base salary only and not additional incentives or benefits.
