Senior Software Engineer - Security and Privacy

As a Software Engineer III specializing in Security and Privacy at Google, you will be a part of a team that develops cutting-edge technologies to revolutionize how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Your work will be crucial in ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive customer workloads in Compute Engine and Compute Engine-based services in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • *Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and deploy security products and initiatives in the confidential computing domain. - Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software deliverables. - Drive the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, reliability, and maintainability. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers in the team. - Analyze and decompose software systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Work with cross-functional and cross-geographical teams for integration. • *Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree. - 2 years of experience in building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management). - Experience in enterprise cloud computing, distributed systems, virtualization, networking, storage, and security. - 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
