What You'll Do

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance metrics.
• Design and code new software or enhance existing systems to introduce new functionalities.
• Integrate software into modified operating environments or systems efficiently.
• Write and review software and system documentation meticulously.
• Lead a team at an appropriate level during the software development process on various projects.
• Design and implement complex database interfaces and queries.
• Develop algorithms that meet or exceed specified system performance and functional standards.
• Assist in developing and executing software component test procedures.
• Analyze system performance standards, user needs, and data workflows to develop software solutions.
• Modify existing software for error correction, hardware adaptation, or performance improvement.
• Employ scientific analysis and mathematical models in designing software systems.
• Implement complex algorithms adhering to strict constraints regarding timing, resources, or interfaces.
• Conduct quality control to ensure team products meet high standards.
• Coordinate system installation and monitor performance to ensure operational specifications are fulfilled.

Basic Qualifications

• 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs and contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
• Active security clearance with a polygraph.

This position is full-time and will be based onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. We support various alternate work schedules, including condensed work weeks for more flexibility. The pay range for this role is $150,800 - $265,880, depending on location and experience. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) match, PTO, and more.
