Senior Software Engineer - Solutions Engineering (Part Time)

As a Senior Software Engineer at Ideagen, you will play a pivotal role in the Software Development Lifecycle by contributing to the timely delivery of innovative products. You are a detail-oriented individual passionate about software testing, test automation, and professional advancement. Your responsibilities will include:

- Building high-quality and innovative SaaS software that complies with coding standards and technical design - Defining system functionality and working on the back-end with .NET CORE, RESTful API design, Entity Framework, and SQL Server - Collaborating closely with Development Managers, Team Leaders, and other Software Engineers to build well-architected cloud-hosted and on-premises enterprise solutions - Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure features are delivered to a high standard - Contributing towards defining and developing a Sprint backlog to achieve the goals set out by the Product team - Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and fixing software defects - Providing unit tests to support and validate any development work undertaken - Mentoring and coaching other development team members to help grow their technical skillsets

Qualifications and Experience: - At least 6 years of experience in a Software Development role - Demonstrable experience implementing programming best practices - Back-end development experience in .NET Core and SQL Server - Experience in Entity Framework, RESTful API design - Knowledge in React or React Native is a plus - Experience using Source Control, preferably Git - Good understanding of UX/Design - Strong communication and presentation skills in English - Experience writing backend and front-end unit tests is preferred - Understanding of Agile software development methodologies/frameworks such as Scrum - Knowledge in AWS cloud-native technologies, Architecture/technical design
