In this pivotal role, you will drive architectural design and make crucial technology decisions. You will employ agile methodologies to construct and deliver innovative products at scale. Your leadership will guide project workstreams, enabling clients to build technical capabilities and cultivate a culture of engineering excellence, user-centric design, and Agile principles.

As an integral part of our team, you'll take on responsibilities that include designing technology architecture and making strategic decisions to shape next-generation products internally. You will also co-create solutions alongside clients and their leadership teams, enhancing your visibility as a recognized technology leader.

You'll be a member of the Middle East McKinsey Digital team, located in Cairo, where we merge McKinsey's digital expertise to help clients adopt digital technology for transformative results.

At McKinsey, Tech & AI is our dedicated tech delivery unit, comprising a diverse team of software engineers, data and cloud experts, product owners, and technology architects. Together, we'll design and develop innovative products and tools that shape the industry. Our technology stack often includes JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Angular.js, Next.js, Vue.js, Python, Java, C#, NodeJS, SQL, MongoDB, AWS, Azure, GCP, and more.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Undergraduate or master's degree; or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software development with strong full-stack web application development.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with languages/frameworks including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue, Java, Spring, C#, .NET, Node.js, SQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, AWS, Azure, GCP, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Docker.
• Experience leading Agile teams, including coaching Agile practices during sprint ceremonies and fostering developer capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, promoting engineering best practices such as design patterns, customer-centric design, TDD, code reviews, and security awareness.
