What you’ll do:

  • Design, deliver, and operate software solutions that accelerate the delivery of life-changing medicines.
  • Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and reliability of complex systems.
  • Contribute to the technical vision within your project while aligning with Sanofi’s broader engineering strategy.
  • Translate requirements into high-quality, performant, and secure code.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and peers to achieve on-time delivery.
  • Take ownership of technical decisions and support the full software development lifecycle—from concept to production.
  • Champion best practices in software engineering, testing, and documentation.
  • Build and maintain modern, cloud-native applications designed for impact and scale.
  • Engage in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering (or equivalent knowledge).
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (Node.js) and React or similar frontend frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of microservice architectures, API design, and cloud security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar).
  • Experience working with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a growth mindset and curiosity for learning new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in an agile environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is a plus.
