About Our Client

Our client is a leading technology company in the west of Hamburg, specializing in the development and manufacturing of innovative energy systems for safety-critical applications. The company is driving the future of aviation, defense, and rail technology – with generators and electric drives to hybrid energy systems.

Your Role

• Software Architecture & Design: Responsibility for architecture, software design, and development of embedded software and drivers.
• System Integration: Integration of Matlab Simulink output, hardware integration, and error analysis.
• Project Management: Planning, coordination, and management of software activities, as well as leadership of subcontractors.
• Requirements Management: Structuring and evaluation of software requirements in DOORS.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in computer science/electronics with a technical focus.
• Between 2-5 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• In-depth knowledge of Embedded C, real-time operating systems (e.g., Free RTOS), and microcontrollers.
• Experience in power electronics or control engineering and collaboration with subcontractors.
• Fluent German (B2 level or higher) and good English skills.
• Willingness to work in the field of military technology.
