Project responsibilities: Software development of embedded avionic systems according to DO178C (up to DAL A) based on a multicore processor platform. Processing, analyzing, and breaking down high-level software requirements to low-level requirements. Independent collaboration on software architecture, design, and code. Software integration, requirement-based verification and validation, as well as engineering tests up to release. Problem reporting, error analysis, and bug fixing in the software. Contributing to concept designs and participating in design decisions, taking project requirements into account. Your profile: Many years of experience in low-level programming of safety-critical embedded software in C. Proven experience in software development for aerospace applications according to DO-178 C or other safety-critical areas based on international (SW) standards (such as ISO/DIS 26262 or ASPICE, DIN EN 61508, IEC 62304, etc.). Development of complex safety-critical systems, ideally up to DAL A, ASIL D, SIL 4, or CLASS C. Sound experience and user knowledge in handling modern processors/multicore platforms; ideally with multicore MCUs on ARM cores. Practical experience with development tools such as Lauterbach, Doors/Polarion, SVN or similar configuration/version control systems, Enterprise Architect or similar XML-based tools, Jenkins, QAC, etc. Experience in IMA/platform development on a complex multicore processor platform according to international standards (such as AMC 20-170, DO-297, AMC 20-193, CAST-32A) is desirable but not required. Programming languages: C, Python, Assembler. A successfully completed degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, or engineering is required.
