About the Role:

SoftMagic Group Software & Digital Innovation AG is seeking a highly experienced and innovation-driven Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead software development operations, engineering strategy, and digital product innovation in Zurich, Switzerland. This role focuses on managing high-performing engineering teams, overseeing large-scale software projects, and driving technological excellence across enterprise and digital solutions environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Engineering Leadership: Oversee software development operations, engineering workflows, and technical project execution
• Technology Strategy Development: Lead engineering strategy, software architecture planning, and digital innovation initiatives
• Product Development Oversight: Manage full software development lifecycle processes from planning to deployment and optimization
• Engineering Team Management: Lead software engineers, developers, QA specialists, DevOps personnel, and technical project teams
• System Architecture & Scalability: Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance software infrastructure and application systems
• Agile & Development Operations: Implement agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and engineering best practices
• Performance Monitoring & Quality Assurance: Track development KPIs, software quality metrics, and operational performance benchmarks
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product managers, business stakeholders, UI/UX teams, and infrastructure specialists
• Compliance & Security Oversight: Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards, software governance protocols, and data protection regulations

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Senior-level experience in software engineering management, enterprise software development, or digital technology leadership
• Skills: Strong technical leadership, software architecture expertise, and engineering operations management capabilities
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Industry Knowledge: Experience with enterprise software systems, cloud technologies, agile environments, and digital product development
• Leadership: Ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex software development operations
