To strengthen the team, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer C++ (m/f/d) for the development of simulation and test frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Core Development, including design and implementation of backend services in modern C++ (Standard 17 or newer)
• Further develop the system architecture, especially with a focus on middleware, system programming, and real-time applications
• Ensure performant cross-platform development for simulation environments
• Actively shape the 'Mixed Environments' that enable the connection of simulation and real hardware
• Application of modern software design patterns and techniques in an agile environment The team places great value on innovation and collaboration, and you will have the opportunity to develop solutions in a creative and dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Successfully completed technical degree, e.g., in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics
• Professional experience in software development with C++ is mandatory
• Deep understanding of software design, patterns, and system architecture
• Experience in system programming and handling distributed systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of network protocols and fieldbuses, such as CAN, ARINC, or AFDX, is also desirable
• Communication and coordination skills
• Independent way of working
• Very good English skills are required
• Good German skills are an advantage
