Senior Software HMI Application Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, mathematics/physics, telecommunications engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the embedded SW development (automotive field)
• Experience in model-based development in the automotive sector.
• Strong proficiency in: MATLAB & Simulink, Algorithm development, Signal processing (filters, FFT, feature extraction), Embedded C and TargetLink, Trace analysis (CANoe, CANape), MIL/SIL/HIL testing
• Experience with: dSPACE toolchain, MXAM (model quality), Lauterbach debugging, AUTOSAR arxml, DOORS, Git / Bitbucket / Jira / Jenkins
• Required in-depth foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Physics, Sensor Technology (capacitive/electrical), Automotive Standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE)
• Good knowledge of English language​ (spoken and written)
• Desirable: knowledge of German language (spoken and written)

Tasks

• Independent development of embedded software according to Marquardt process, especially in the context of Human Machine Interfaces (Car Interior, Door, Head-Unit, Steering Wheel)
• Analysis & elicitation of customer requirements
• Further detailed analysis of software specifications
• Creation, adaptation and extension of software architectures and design (AUTOSAR)
• Planning and implementation of tasks for SW design changes
• Implementation of model integration tests (hands on involvement in the SW-HW integration process)
• Collaboration in the international project team
