The Value Stream Home Monitoring within the Digital Services and Infrastructure division is responsible for the development of our industry-leading Home Monitoring platform – a medical software of the highest security class. Home Monitoring offers our physicians efficient clinical workflows to make the lives of our patients better every day.

Responsibilities

As part of an agile team, you will undertake the following tasks:

• Creation, review, and maintenance of requirement specifications
• Conception, design, and implementation of automated software and integration tests for product features
• Coordination, execution, evaluation, and documentation of software tests, including the test results of the developed software
• Conception and development of strategies and frameworks for software testing based on state-of-the-art technologies
• Creation and further development of test concepts
• Analysis of performance problems and support with optimization
• Implementation of the team's agile working methods, taking into account valid development regulations and standards

Requirements

• Completed studies in an IT-related field or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as a Software Test Engineer
• Quality-conscious way of working
• Strong analytical skills and motivation for continuous development
• Confident communication in both German and English

Ideally, you have knowledge in some of the following areas:

• Automation of software tests at subsystem, integration, and end-to-end levels for complex software systems – preferably with Java or C#, e.g., using Selenium and HTMLUnit
• Experience with Jira and code repositories like Bitbucket or GitHub
• Familiarity with various database and persistence technologies, e.g., SQL, NoSQL, or Hibernate
• Knowledge of using HP ALM for test management
• Use of Behavior-Driven Development approaches with Cucumber
