Senior Software Test Engineer

Join Republic Finance, LLC as a Senior Software Test Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and reliability of our applications. Located at 8428 Parkwood Boulevard, Plano, TX 75024, you will work closely with developers, QA teams, and product managers to automate testing processes efficiently.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Automate the execution of test cases and develop robust test scripts to ensure quality assurance.
• Utilize Selenium WebDriver to create and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• Design, implement, and carry out test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and influence test automation strategies.
• Enhance our test frameworks by integrating with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to facilitate seamless test execution.
• Debug and troubleshoot test failures, analyzing logs to identify issues in code or application functionality.
• Develop comprehensive test coverage by designing effective and thorough test cases.
• Report test outcomes through automated reporting systems (Allure, TestNG, Extent Reports).
• Contribute to the creation of test plans, outlining strategies, test case development, and execution timelines.
• Perform performance and load testing as needed, utilizing tools like JMeter.
• Stay current with new testing tools and best practices, advising on improvements to the testing process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in SDET or automation testing roles, including:
  • Test automation using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to test automation (Java, Python).
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
  • RESTful API testing experience with tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in Agile environments.
  • Experience in cross-browser testing, specifically with Chrome and Firefox.
