Senior Software Engineer Embedded Systems

Focus: System Architecture, Distributed Systems Tech-Stack: C/C++, Bash, Yocto, Zephyr, STM32, AM62P

Your Profile

• Real Experience: You have already successfully guided systems through complex refactoring phases. We are looking for someone who knows what happens when theory meets real hardware.
• Embedded Linux & MCU: You understand Linux as a basis. You don't have to be a full-time Yocto maintainer, but you understand the mechanisms (Layers, Recipes, Kernel/User-Space) to set standards.
• Experience with Real-Time OS (ideally Zephyr) is a strong plus.
• Tools & Scripts: You are proficient in C/C++ and use scripts as a Swiss Army knife for automating your workflows.
• Languages: German and English are a must. French is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• The System: You design complex, distributed systems in the premium industrial segment. You transform our existing architecture into a modern, distributed system.
• You are the conductor between Embedded Linux (MPU) and Real-Time nodes (MCU). If you know that a system is only as stable as its weakest link in internal communication and terms like "determinism" and "test-driven" are part of your repertoire, then you are in the right place.
• You design the technological foundation for our next generation, where Linux (Yocto) communicates seamlessly with STM32 targets (Zephyr).
• Distributed Intelligence: You define the protocols for machine-internal communication.
• CI/CD & Tooling: You build the bridge between development and deployment.
• Security by Design: You implement security concepts (CRA compliance) that cover the entire lifecycle – from build link to end-device.
