Leidos is excited to announce an opening for a Senior Solutions Architect to enhance our Mission Solutions team. We are looking for a passionate and innovative individual who can lead the design of complex, mission-critical solutions across diverse fields including AI, Cybersecurity, Enterprise IT, Biochemical and Life Sciences, Open-Source Intelligence, Data Analytics, Modeling & Simulation, and other cutting-edge technologies.

In this senior technical leadership role, you'll leverage your extensive experience in architecting sophisticated systems, guiding diverse teams, and shaping strategic initiatives at high levels. You possess a deep understanding of how technologies converge and evolve, using this knowledge to engineer solutions that tackle real-world challenges with creativity, precision, and technical excellence.

This position is ideal for someone who is eager to confront the unknown and drive innovation. As a vital member of the CTO team, you will be the expert that clients and capture teams consult when they ask, 'How can we solve this?' Your insights and technical approaches will lay the groundwork for compelling proposals and successful projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical vision for comprehensive enterprise solutions across various domains including AI/ML, Cyber, Cloud, Digital Modernization, and more.
• Architect end-to-end solutions that address challenging mission problems and emerging threats with innovative designs.
• Create technical documents including whitepapers and RFP/RFI responses, translating technical innovations into clear customer value.
• Conduct in-depth requirements analysis and translate client needs into actionable technical specifications.
• Guide and inspire cross-disciplinary teams, unifying subject matter experts to develop cohesive architectures.
• Drive technical capture and proposal strategies, ensuring alignment with customer missions and needs.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to turn requirements into actionable architectures, explaining technical concepts at both high and detailed levels.
• Incorporate emerging technologies such as AI/ML and advanced analytics into forward-thinking solutions and roadmaps.
• Act as a senior technical authority, shaping innovative solutions across multiple domains.
• Influence program direction to ensure solutions are both visionary and practical.
• Partner with business development teams to formulate new business strategies, including technical solutions and estimates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a senior architect or engineering leader on government contracts.
• Track record in translating mission needs into multi-domain technical architectures.
• Familiarity with leading technology providers that strengthen technical solutions.
• Experience as a solution architect or technical volume lead for proposals.
• Exceptional ability to articulate intricate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a relevant STEM discipline with 15+ years of experience (additional experience may substitute for formal education).
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.

• Prior experience as a lead Solutions Architect on proposals.
• Success in establishing partnerships with suppliers during proposals.

• Experience in attracting and retaining top technical talent.
• History of driving business growth through innovative technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting solutions across multiple domains including Cybersecurity, AI/ML, and cloud migration.
• Technical expertise in mission-critical domains such as AI, Cyber, or Digital Modernization.
• Strong grasp of AI concepts, including emerging frameworks and intelligent systems.
• Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and ethical AI practices.
• Proven record in technical capture and proposal support.
• Ability to conduct technical research to shape innovative solutions.

$154,050.00 - $278,475.00
