Role Description

As a Senior IBM Cúram Solution Designer, you will own the end-to-end solution architecture on the Cúram SPM platform.

You will act as the technical authority, leading design, integration, governance, and delivery from blueprint to production in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture Leadership

• Define end-to-end Cúram architecture aligned with enterprise and government standards
• Lead High-Level and Low-Level Design governance
• Translate policy and regulatory requirements into scalable technical models
• Define configuration vs. customization strategies for out-of-the-box modules

Platform Architecture & Design

• Architect solutions leveraging:
  • Workflow
  • Intelligent Evidence Gathering (IEG2)
  • Cúram Express Rules (CER)
  • Evidence Broker
• Design robust data models including:
  • Domain Definitions
  • Entities, Structs, Processes, Facades
  • Code Tables, Message Files
  • Data Manager optimization

Enterprise Integration & API Strategy

• Design REST and SOAP integration patterns
• Define API architecture and real-time data exchange with legacy platforms
• Ensure interoperability aligned with security and data governance standards
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to align with long-term IT roadmaps

Front Office & Back Office Architecture

• Define UI architecture using UIM/VIM framework
• Guide modernization strategies integrating ReactJS or Angular
• Ensure seamless experience between citizen portals and case management systems

Governance & Delivery Oversight

• Establish design standards and best practices
• Conduct architecture checkpoints and technical reviews
• Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, and data protection standards
• Provide technical oversight during SIT, UAT, and production releases

Qualifications

Experience

• 7+ years in Java/J2EE enterprise environments
• 4+ years designing solutions on the IBM Cúram platform
• Proven experience in government or public-sector programs
• Strong experience producing architecture artifacts and technical blueprints
• IBM Cúram certification (preferred)

Technical Expertise

• Deep expertise in Cúram SPM V6/V7 architecture
• Mastery of Data Manager, Evidence Broker, Code Tables, and Message Files
• Advanced IEG2, CER, and Workflow design
• Complex eligibility and case management solution architecture
• Java/J2EE enterprise design
• REST/SOAP API architecture
• Oracle or DB2 performance optimization
• Enterprise integration patterns
