Senior Solutions Engineer - Healthcare & Life Sciences
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on the Healthcare & Life Sciences vertical. In this role, you will be a critical technical resource, partnering with our sales team to drive new revenue by providing deep product expertise and strategic guidance to prospective customers. You will be responsible for understanding complex customer requirements, designing tailored Talkdesk solutions, and demonstrating the value of our platform in addressing the unique challenges of the Healthcare & Life Sciences industry.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to drive new revenue by providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer business processes, technical requirements, and challenges.
- Design and present tailored Talkdesk solutions that address customer needs, demonstrating clear business value and ROI.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical workshops for prospective customers.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Talkdesk products and the broader contact center landscape, with a focus on Healthcare & Life Sciences.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and professional services teams to ensure successful customer deployments and ongoing satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends within Healthcare & Life Sciences.
- Contribute to the creation of sales tools, best practices, and thought leadership content.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior Solutions Engineers as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant) within the enterprise software space.
- 3+ years of experience specifically supporting Healthcare & Life Sciences customers, with a strong understanding of industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and workflows.
- Proven track record of successfully closing complex enterprise deals by providing technical expertise and building strong customer relationships.
- Deep understanding of Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) or Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) technologies and market trends.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about customer challenges and solution design.
- Ability to travel up to 30% (post-pandemic).
