Key Responsibilities
- Translating business objectives into comprehensive telephony solution strategies tailored for enterprise clients.
- Partnering with Sales Engineers, UCaaS Advisors, and specialists to ensure technical recommendations align with customer requirements.
- Working with product, architecture, and quality teams to rigorously test and validate new telephony features prior to their production release.
- Presenting advanced UCaaS and CCaaS solutions to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting intricate telephony and network configurations during proof-of-concept phases.
- Influencing product roadmaps by sharing valuable customer use cases and market insights with Product Management teams.
- Delivering targeted demonstrations highlighting telephony integrations, AI-driven features, and workflow automations.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation to support solution delivery and sales enablement efforts.
- Mentoring team members on advanced telephony concepts and industry best practices.
Qualifications We Seek
- 7+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or customer-facing engineering roles.
- A high-level understanding of telephony technologies, including SIP, RTP, QoS, COS, codecs, and PBX architectures.
- Strong familiarity with enterprise networking fundamentals: routing, switching, LAN/WAN, firewalls, TCP/IP (IPv4), DNS, and SBCs.
- A robust understanding of the UCaaS and CCaaS market landscape, including competitors such as Microsoft, Cisco, RingCentral, Amazon, and 8x8.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across various departments, including product management, QA, architecture, and customer success.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts in clear, business-relevant language.
- Preferred certifications such as MCSE, CCIE, or other relevant networking and telecommunications credentials.
- A results-oriented mindset that thrives in dynamic, growth-focused environments.
Compensation Information
Salary Range: $146,000.00 - $319,400.00.
Starting pay will depend on various factors and will align with your qualifications and experience.
Zoom also implements a location-based compensation structure; therefore, salary ranges may differ based on the location of candidates.
