The Role

We are looking for a performance-driven Senior Paid Media Specialist to own and drive our digital acquisition strategy across Paid Search. This role is highly hands-on and focused on driving performance through campaign execution, optimization, and scaling. Reporting to the Manager of Paid Media & SEO, this role will play a key part in managing and growing our Paid Search program, while supporting broader paid media efforts as needed.

Responsibilities

Some of what you'll do:

Paid Search Execution & Performance Ownership (70%)

  • Own the day-to-day execution and performance of Paid Search campaigns (Google Ads: Search, Shopping, Performance Max), including campaign builds, optimizations, and scaling.
  • Actively manage campaign structure, keyword coverage, bidding strategies, audience signals, and feed-based activations.
  • Monitor performance daily and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and scale (ROAS, CPA, CPC, conversion rate).
  • Identify and execute opportunities to drive incremental growth through campaign expansion, query mining, and segmentation.
  • Manage and adjust budgets across campaigns based on performance and business priorities.
  • Work closely with internal teams (E-commerce, Merchandising, Creative) to ensure alignment between campaigns and on-site experience.
  • Support paid social and other channels on an ad hoc basis when needed (testing, peak periods, coverage).

Performance Analysis & Optimization (30%)

  • Analyze campaign performance to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate data into actionable optimizations within campaigns (not just reporting).
  • Support testing initiatives across bidding strategies, campaign structures, and audience signals.
  • Ensure data accuracy across platforms (Google Ads, GA4) and understand differences in reporting.
  • Contribute to performance reporting with clear, concise insights.

Qualifications

Some of what you'll need:

  • 4-6+ years of experience in paid media, with a strong focus on hands-on Paid Search execution.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max), including campaign setup, optimization, and scaling.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize campaigns directly within platforms to achieve performance targets (ROAS, CPA, conversion rate).
  • Strong understanding of campaign structure, bidding strategies, and query-level optimization.
  • Experience working with product feeds and feed-based campaign structures.
  • Familiarity with paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok) is an asset but not required.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions quickly.
  • Comfortable owning performance and working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Given the international nature of our business and of this position, the candidate will be required to communicate effectively, on a regular basis, with various stakeholders (co-workers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, etc.) located in Canada outside Quebec or throughout the world. Proficiency in languages other than French (notably, English) will be an asset for the successful candidate.
