Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Bank of America's security policies and procedures.
• Utilize Splunk to monitor and analyze data from various sources, including servers, networks, and applications.
• Develop and implement detection mechanisms to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with other security teams to ensure the timely and accurate response to potential threats.
• Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on security events and incidents.
• Actively research and stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions.
• Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Create and maintain documentation related to security processes and procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members on security best practices and procedures.
• Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay abreast of industry standards and compliance regulations and ensure adherence to them.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance security operations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and reports on security incidents and events.
• Proactively identify and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
