Summary

We are seeking to hire an experienced Accounting Professional for a Staff Accountant position in our Forest Hill, Maryland corporate headquarters. The primary responsibilities of the Staff Accountant involve handling accounting duties daily that are assigned by management. Responsibilities

As a Sr. Staff Accountant, your daily duties will include but may not be limited to:

• Prepare month end journal entries.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and performance indicator reports.
• Prepare and develop budgets.
• Prepare monthly sales and use tax payments/returns.
• Assist with annual external review.
• Assist with other accounting department responsibilities, full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Requirements

The primary requirements of a Sr. Staff Accountant involve:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in accounting.
• 5+ Years of related experience.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Experience with general ledger accounting software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team.

Salary

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 annually.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
