Senior State Product Manager – Personal Lines (Remote)

A leading national insurance organization is hiring a Senior State Product Manager to lead Personal Lines strategy for complex markets. This is a highly visible leadership role focused on multi‑year strategy, pricing and underwriting direction, regulatory engagement, and cross‑functional execution across actuarial, underwriting, claims, sales, technology, and legal.

What You’ll Do

• Own strategy and results for one or more high‑complexity states
• Lead multi‑year plans across pricing, underwriting appetite, product structure, and distribution
• Drive top and bottom‑line performance, including combined ratio and growth
• Partner closely with Actuarial, Underwriting, Sales, Claims, Legal, and Technology
• Use data and financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and strategic opportunities
• Lead and develop a high‑performing team
• Build strong relationships with regulators and industry partners

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in insurance product management or underwriting
• California experience highly preferred
• Proven success managing state‑level P&L performance
• Strong strategic, analytical, and data‑driven decision‑making skills
• Experience leading high‑impact initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
• People leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or designations (CPCU, AU, actuarial exams) preferred
