Your mission

As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will lead supplier quality assurance activities across EPC projects to ensure that equipment and packages comply with contractual specifications, project standards, and regulatory requirements. You will act as a key technical authority for supplier quality performance, coordinating inspection strategies, managing non-conformities, and ensuring continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Your responsibilities

Supplier Quality Management

  • Define and implement supplier quality strategies for project packages and critical equipment.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with project QA/QC requirements.
  • Lead quality surveillance activities across supplier manufacturing sites.

Inspection & Quality Assurance

  • Define Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) in coordination with engineering and procurement teams.
  • Supervise inspection activities at supplier workshops and manufacturing facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and international standards.

Non-Conformance & Quality Control

  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and corrective action plans with suppliers.
  • Lead root cause analysis and ensure proper implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor supplier quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Supplier Performance & Risk Management

  • Assess supplier risks and monitor critical equipment and Long Lead Items (LLI).
  • Review manufacturing documentation, quality records, and vendor data books.
  • Support procurement and project teams during technical and contractual discussions with suppliers.

Project Coordination

  • Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams.
  • Provide technical guidance on supplier quality matters across multiple packages (PVHE, piping, valves, E&I equipment, etc.).
  • Contribute to project reporting and management reviews related to supplier quality performance.

Your profile

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience

  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in supplier quality management, inspection, manufacturing quality, or QA/QC engineering within EPC or industrial projects.

Technical expertise

  • Strong experience in supplier quality assurance for industrial equipment and packages.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspection techniques, and international standards.
  • Experience with Material Management Systems (e.g., Smart Materials - Intergraph) is an advantage.

Languages

  • Professional level of spoken and written English.
