We're Seeking a Security Systems Engineer to support design, integration, and sustainment of Door-Type Electronically Controlled Physical Security Access combined with Video Security Security Access systems, both involving Automation and Data Collection. Strong hands‐on experience with Lenel (or a similar technology) and/or other Access Control System (ACS) or Video Control System (VMS) or platform is essential.

What You’ll Do

• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot ACS/VMS systems (work with technologies like: Lenel, C•CURE, Hirsch, Bosch, Milestone, Genetec, Pelco)
• Perform system diagnostics on controllers, readers, cameras, servers, and storage
• Complete detailed takeoffs from new-system-build requirement documents and diagrams
• Develop-Design Electronic Security Systems (ESS) based on designs, BOMs, device counts, and system layouts
• Produce technical submittals, drawings, and engineering documentation
• Support installation, commissioning, site surveys, and system validation

What You Bring

• Senior Level Experience surrounding ESS engineering, system design, or integration involving both ACS and VMS.
• Strong experience with Lenel OnGuard or a similar system is preferred
• Experience with with at least some of the following: C•CURE 9000 , Hirsch, Bosch, Milestone, Genetec, or Pelco
• Ability to interpret technical-engineering-electronic specs, drawings, and ESS standards; should be familiar with UFC and/or UFG standards and guidelines)
• Knowledge of ACS, VMS and their communication-connectivity to IP networking, and low‐voltage systems
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• A College Degree or Technical Training or Military Training is a plus.

Work Environment

• Mix of engineering, proposal support, and field work
• Mission‐critical and secure environments
• Travel for site assessments and system commissioning (This role will require up to 20% travel).
