About the role

We are seeking a Senior Systems & Network Engineer to join our team and play a key role in modernizing Brio’s infrastructure. This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of both our Windows-based enterprise systems and Cisco network environment across LAN and WAN.

The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on expertise across the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure/Entra ID) and strong experience in enterprise networking, with the ability to operate seamlessly across systems, identity, and network layers. This role will be instrumental in driving our transition from on-prem Active Directory to Azure in a Multi-Tenant Organization (MTO) while ensuring a stable, secure, and high-performing network foundation.

We are looking for someone who not only supports infrastructure, but leads change, drives standardization, and improves reliability across a distributed environment.

What you'll do

Network Architecture & Operations

• Own design, implementation, and support of enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, and wireless environments.
• Lead architecture and optimization of Cisco-based networking, including switching, routing, and security.
• Manage and improve WAN connectivity, site-to-site VPNs, and remote site performance.
• Partner with ISPs and vendors to ensure high availability, redundancy, and performance SLAs.
• Troubleshoot complex network performance, latency, and connectivity issues across distributed environments.
• Drive network standardization, segmentation, and security improvements (zero trust, NAC, etc.).

Systems & Identity Transformation

• Lead migration from on-prem Active Directory to Azure (Entra ID), including support for Multi-Tenant Organization (MTO) design.
• Architect and manage hybrid identity, authentication, and cross-tenant access.
• Design and support Microsoft 365 services in a multi-tenant environment (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).
• Implement and manage endpoint strategy using Intune, MDM, and device compliance.

Infrastructure & Operations

• Support and evolve Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Lead troubleshooting across network, identity, and cloud layers.
• Implement and enhance monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and security controls.
• Drive infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Develop and maintain standards, documentation, and operational procedures.
• Mentor team members and act as escalation point across network and systems domains.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a Senior Infrastructure, Network, or Systems Engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Cisco networking (switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, WAN)
  • Enterprise LAN/WAN design and support
  • Network troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Deep expertise with:
  • Windows Server & Active Directory
  • Azure AD / Entra ID (including hybrid and MTO environments)
  • Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Proven experience leading AD to Azure migrations and hybrid transformations.
• Experience with network security concepts (segmentation, firewalls, zero trust).
• Strong experience with Intune and endpoint management.
• Working knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Ability to operate independently, lead initiatives, and drive measurable change.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience)
• Microsoft certifications (Azure, Security, M365)
• Experience in multi-site, distributed, or global environments
• Experience with M&A integrations or multi-entity IT environments
