Your new job

As a Senior System Engineer (m/f/d), you are part of one of the leading IT service providers and are responsible for the holistic support of your own SMB and SME customers – occasionally also in the enterprise environment.

You are the technical anchor point for your customers and the first point of contact when it comes to modern IT architectures, further developments, or complex technical issues.

Your tasks include:

• Holistic support of your own customer landscape (SMB & SME)
• Advising your customers on modern, future-proof IT architectures
• Planning, implementation, and further development of IT solutions and projects
• Installation, configuration, and automation of complex IT environments
• Carrying out migrations, modernizations, and renewal projects
• Taking over and processing tickets, including analysis, changes, and troubleshooting
• Responsibility for quality, transparency, and clean documentation
• Close cooperation with colleagues, customers, manufacturers, and partners
• Active knowledge transfer within the team and mutual support

Your approach is to do rather than just plan: You don't just think up solutions, you implement them independently – from the idea to go-live.

• Client rollouts (PCs, notebooks, thin clients)
• Microsoft 365 introductions & migrations

Is this you?

Your profile:

• Completed apprenticeship in the IT field (e.g., Fachinformatiker:in Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as a System Engineer (m/f/d), ideally in the IT service environment or data center operations
• Very good, practical know-how in Windows Server infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Fileservices)
• Sound experience in virtualization environments such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox
• Confident handling of server, storage, and backup solutions (e.g., HPE, Dell, NetApp, Pure Storage, Veeam Backup & Replication)
• Good knowledge in the area of network & security, especially: Firewalling (Fortigate, Sophos, pfSense), Switching & WLAN (Cisco, HPE Aruba, Unifi)
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (introduction, migration, operation)
• Basic knowledge in project management and experience in planning and implementing your own IT projects
• Structured, self-organized way of working and a high degree of responsibility
• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and enjoyment of working with customers and partners
• High willingness to learn and motivation to quickly familiarize yourself with new technologies and topics
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form are required, as you will be regularly involved in customer communication and technical documentation.
