Senior System Engineer Linux / Infrastructure (m/w/d)

Role

Our Rocken Partner develops and operates scalable IT infrastructures, relying on modern automation and cloud approaches. In this role, you will take responsibility for the operational management and further development of the platforms.

Responsibilities

• Linux-server systems are set up, operated, and maintained throughout their entire lifecycle
• The infrastructure architecture is further developed together with internal teams and projects
• Automations in operations are implemented with Ansible and sustainably established
• Administration of virtualization, backup, and storage systems is part of daily business
• Tasks to ensure stable operation are planned, executed, and reviewed, including regular on-call duty

Qualifications

• A sound IT education or many years of experience as a System Engineer is available
• Several years of practical experience in Linux-based infrastructures are brought along
• Experience with VMware and platform infrastructure is available
• Knowledge of container or cloud technologies is an advantage
• Analytical thinking, personal responsibility, and a high level of commitment characterize you
