What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities)

• Lead all aspects of systems engineering for sensors and embedded platforms, overseeing everything from requirements to integration.
• Own subsystem-level strategy while influencing platform-wide decisions.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, requirements, and interface definitions.
• Drive architectural reviews and implement best practices for embedded development.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and test teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Mentor junior engineers and strengthen team capabilities.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded systems, or sensor integration.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering processes, V-Model, and safety-critical design principles.
• Experience in key technology areas including sensor platforms, operating systems, or middleware.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded systems, or sensor integration.
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 and functional safety standards.
• Ability to read and understand source code (C/C++) and system models.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Experience in product release and specification processes.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $160,000 to $240,000. Salaries may vary based on relevant factors.

Bonus Potential: Incentive pay based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

Location, Travel & Relocation

This hybrid role requires reporting to a specific location at least 3 times a week, with travel up to 25%. Eligibility for relocation benefits may apply.
