What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities)
- Lead all aspects of systems engineering for sensors and embedded platforms, overseeing everything from requirements to integration.
- Own subsystem-level strategy while influencing platform-wide decisions.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, requirements, and interface definitions.
- Drive architectural reviews and implement best practices for embedded development.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and test teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and strengthen team capabilities.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded systems, or sensor integration.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering processes, V-Model, and safety-critical design principles.
- Experience in key technology areas including sensor platforms, operating systems, or middleware.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded systems, or sensor integration.
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 and functional safety standards.
- Ability to read and understand source code (C/C++) and system models.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Experience in product release and specification processes.
Compensation
The compensation range for this role is $160,000 to $240,000. Salaries may vary based on relevant factors.
Bonus Potential: Incentive pay based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

Location, Travel & Relocation
This hybrid role requires reporting to a specific location at least 3 times a week, with travel up to 25%. Eligibility for relocation benefits may apply.
