About Our Team

Our team provides an internal platform that ranges from application development with GitLab to operation in Kubernetes and AWS. We rely on a partner for the production operation of Kubernetes and PostgreSQL. We operate infrastructure systems ourselves, such as for logging (Elastic Stack) and monitoring (Prometheus and Grafana), as well as internal Kubernetes clusters on virtual machines provided by the Core Infrastructure Team (with a Linux focus). We continuously develop and maintain this platform in close collaboration with the application development teams, the Core Infrastructure Operations Team, and our external operations partners.

Your Role

• Operation, maintenance, and continuous updating of the DevOps infrastructure
• Ensuring stable and reliable operation of the DevOps platform, as well as analysis and coordination of anomalies or disruptions
• Support and consulting for development teams on the effective use of our DevOps platform and CI/CD workflows
• Analysis and further development of existing workflows, tools, and systems of the DevOps platform
• Expansion of platform capabilities with a focus on automation, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Further development and optimization of the platform architecture in close collaboration with development and operations

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a Linux environment and a strong personal interest in Linux and Open Source
• Experience with cloud infrastructures, especially AWS, as well as in operating and automating modern system landscapes
• Solid IT education or comparable practical experience
• Very good German language skills
• Developing sustainable, well-thought-out solutions at the current state of the art is a matter of course for you
• High initiative and continuous development of your professional and technical skills are part of your working method
• You analyze systems and interrelationships in a structured manner, identify optimization potential, and implement improvements independently
• Quality, maintainability, and sustainable results are a high priority for you; you work in a structured way, test carefully, and promote review and quality processes within the team

The gross annual salary starts from EUR 60,000,- depending on experience level. We are happy to discuss your actual salary personally with you – depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
