Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Sr. SRE)

Our client is an innovative healthtech company changing the way patients receive services and get improved outcomes all while providing a better patient experience. Due to continued growth they are expanding their technology team and are hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Sr. SRE).

About the Role

The Senior SRE will be responsible for supporting high-traffic, high-availability production systems as well as planning for scalability, reliability and future architectural planning to ensure system viability. Candidates will contribute to project plans and technological growth within the stack.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of professional hands-on industry experience working as an SRE
• Specific hands-on experience and expertise with the following: PostgreSQL, Python, AWS, RDS, ECS or EKS, monitoring tools (they use Datadog), Terraform, etc.
• Good coding practices
• Ability to read and understand code
• Perform general troubleshooting and ad-hoc fixes
• Experience with AI tooling (Claude) and/or be AI-curious and willing to leverage AI tools for efficiency
• BSCS or equivalent is desired
• Excellent communication skills
• Consumer and product-focused in their approach

Work Schedule

This role is on-site in the office 4 days / week and requires on-call support for one week at a time.
