Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Senior Systems Security Engineer/Operations Research Analyst to support the Naval Aviation Training Systems and Ranges Program Office (PMA-205) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. PMA-205 provides full‑life cycle acquisition of naval aviation platform and general training systems, training range instrumentation systems, and distributed mission training centers. Tactical Combat Training System Increment II (TCTS II) is a next generation secure, Live‑Virtual‑Constructive (LVC) enabling air combat training system that offers realistic threat scenarios and secure cross‑service training.

Responsibilities

• Review and communicate system security architecture and requirements for TCTSII and future LVC air combat training programs.
• Integrate systems security requirements into systems architectures and development, including Cross‑Domain Solution (CDS), cryptographic, and anti‑tamper requirements.
• Develop and assist with processes for approval of security systems by National Security Agency (NSA) and Navy entities.
• Provide high‑level subject matter expertise, analysis, and technical guidance to support project execution.
• Plan programs to meet current and future systems security requirements.
• Execute risk management, identify vulnerabilities, assess risk, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high‑level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems.
• Administer complex areas of the network, security analysis, and planning.

Qualifications

• Management, Technical, or Scientific MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university.
• Allowable substitution: Business, Management, Technical, or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience.
• At least ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering or operations analysis position, three (3) of which must be directly related to DoD systems.
• Demonstrated experience in your area of engineering expertise is required.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative environment.
• Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance required.
• Will require SCI/SAP access.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
