In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Systems Engineering, who fosters a supportive and empowering environment, encouraging team ownership while offering necessary guidance. This position primarily allows for remote work, offering you flexibility, with some in-office collaboration required for key meetings and training sessions. Expect up to 30% travel to engage directly with customers through meetings, product demonstrations, and industry events, further enhancing Nutanix's market presence.

Your Role

  • Provide expert technical support to the sales team, showcasing Nutanix solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with sales counterparts to create comprehensive account plans and customer engagement strategies.
  • Manage complex accounts and participate in significant sales transactions, ensuring clear communication and resolution of customer concerns.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients as a trusted advisor, understanding their unique business challenges.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and guide prospects through technical evaluations (POCs).
  • Collect and relay customer feedback to enhance Nutanix products and services.
  • Mentor new hires and peers in technical areas, offering support and insights.
  • Meet performance goals related to sales targets and customer engagement within the first year.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience, including 3+ years as a Presales Engineer.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on technical aptitude and adaptability to market demands.
  • Strong analytical skills for effectively solving complex problems and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Presales experience in data center and cloud technologies, specifically with Nutanix products.
  • Subject matter expertise in relevant technology fields, fostering credibility with clients.

Working Arrangement

This position is primarily remote. While there is no specific in-office requirement, there may be occasions where in-office attendance is required for specific purposes, along with travel to other locations as needed.

The starting pay range for this role is USD $196,000 to USD $294,000 per year. Base pay may vary based on factors such as market location, experience, and job-related skills. Total compensation may also include a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and additional benefits including various paid time off, 401(k) eligibility, and more.
