Summary
The Senior Tableau Developer – Analytics & PMO Reporting is a senior individual contributor responsible for owning the design, stability, and analytical integrity of PMO and ePMO reporting. This role provides end-to-end accountability for Tableau-based analytics, ensuring executive-ready insights across project, delivery, and financial data.
The role requires deep Tableau expertise, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a complex enterprise data environment, partnering with senior PMO, Finance, and Technology stakeholders.
The role also requires knowledge of Clarity PPM tool (administration), ServiceNow (ITSM), JIRA (administration) and Power BI or any other reporting tool.
Responsibilities
Strategic Tableau Ownership
- Serve as the primary owner of PMO and ePMO Tableau reporting solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain high-impact executive dashboards, published workbooks, and governed data extracts
- Ensure Tableau assets meet standards for accuracy, performance, scalability, and usability
- Lead enhancements to critical dashboards, including ePMO Data Quality and portfolio-level reporting
- Perform complex analytical investigations across project, task, financial actuals, and risk dataset
- Validate business logic and data transformations; identify root causes of discrepancies
- Leverage SQL and Snowflake for analysis, performance tuning, and data validation
- Proactively monitor Tableau refreshes and data pipelines to prevent stale or misleading reporting
- Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and user experience design principles
- A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a passion for data and analytics
Senior Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted analytics partner to PMO, ePMO leadership, and Finance stakeholders
- Translate ambiguous business questions into structured, data-driven insights
- Clearly communicate analytical findings, assumptions, and limitations to non-technical audiences
- Influence analytics best practices and promote adoption of self-service reporting where appropriate
- An enthusiastic collaborator who values teamwork and open communication
Governance, Standards & Continuity
- Contribute to reporting-related change management, documentation, and UAT validation
- Provide senior-level continuity for reporting during platform upgrades or operational gaps
- Mentor junior resources on Tableau development, data concepts, and analytical rigor
- Ensure reporting solutions align with enterprise data governance and PMO standards
Eligibility Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience data visualization, with a strong focus on Tableau development and dashboard design
- Expert-level experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex, multi-source data environments
- Advanced SQL proficiency; hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
- Proven experience delivering leadership-facing dashboards with high visibility and impact
- Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight in a fast-moving environment
- Experience with Clarity PPM administration, SSO certificate renewal process in prod/dev/test
- Knowledge of dimensional data modeling and Power BI architecture
- Exposure to ETL concepts and enterprise data pipelines
- Familiarity with JIRA administration, FTP setup and file transfer to different system
- Knowledge of ServiceNow admin, ServiceNow/Clarity PPM integration using REST API and automation
- Exposure to SDLC, ITSM framework and different project methodology
- Any programming language Python or R will be an added advantage
- Should be able to work in third party vendor like Rego and Broadcom
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
In the US, the target base salary for this role is $130-$150K .Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
