Purpose

We are recruiting a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to be based at our offices in Calgary, Alberta on a hybrid work from home basis. We are looking for someone who can deliver high quality technical and professional candidates while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the recruitment selection process. This individual will perform full life cycle recruitment across a range of projects and portfolios and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders.

The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the organization has access to optimal talent profiles for the current and long-term business needs. This is achieved by delivering proactive Talent Acquisition services that match resource supply with business demand and utilization of a Direct Sourcing approach to ensure best possible access to key talent across all hiring categories. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is accountable for the end-to-end Talent Acquisition process and its outcomes across the Canada region, and will deliver recruitment across all key hiring categories and worker types including contingent, graduate, executive and professional hires.

Core Activities

  • Personally own the full Talent Acquisition lifecycle for assigned requisitions from requirements definition, hiring intake, sourcing, assessment & selection to onboarding.
  • Consistently develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Own the Hiring Manager relationship, coaching them through the TA process, their role within it, creating appropriate target lists and a compelling value proposition to sell to passive candidates.
  • Actively source passive candidates for all requisitions and present robust shortlists with an appropriate mix of internal, external, active and passive candidates.
  • Promote best practice Assessment & Selection, coaching hiring managers where necessary and taking ultimate responsibility for high quality hiring decisions utilizing the Worley Assessment & Selection methodology.
  • Champion compliance with Worley policies and procedures throughout the TA lifecycle.
  • Own the delivery of all Talent Acquisition activities within set perimeter to ensure targets for time to offer, time to hire, quality of hire and cost of hire standards are met and in line with Global Talent Acquisition KPI’s.
  • Strive to deliver a “Best in Class” Experience for Candidates, Hiring Managers and other key Stakeholders within the TA process.
  • Assist with the deployment of all TA project activities within the set perimeter and drive adoption of new model with key audiences.
  • Embed and drive adoption of new technology platform deployments with key stakeholder groups and as directed by TA Manager
  • Promote the Worley brand through a variety of recruitment marketing activities and ensure appropriate marketing of all requisitions assigned utilizing key advertising and social media channels.

What you will bring:

  • Proven strategic Talent Acquisition professional, with several years of experience across a mix of Search, Agency and In-House roles.
  • Experience working within Engineering, Construction, Procurement (EPCM) and Consulting markets in the Alberta area.
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant field.
  • Extensive Direct Sourcing skills with a proven background in recruitment of passive candidates and knowledge of the latest sourcing platforms.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex information, identify trends, create strategic action plans based on the information and gain sponsorship for these at domain board level.
  • Lead, model, manage and coach the organization in best practice Assessment & Selection techniques.
  • Able to model desired behaviors in a corporate environment, be the ultimate role model for the team in terms of behaviors, standards, and best practice.
  • Personal powers of resilience and tenacity; takes personal responsibility for resolving performance issues before they impact on the business; consistently sees things through to completion.
  • Strong Cultural awareness and ability to adapt approach across countries.
