About the role

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced or operational environment, with experience working closely with hiring managers
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to build, analyze, and explain recruiting reports (time to fill, pipeline health, requisition aging), with a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience improving or creating recruiting processes, with clear examples of changes made or workflows built
  • Ability to balance hands‑on recruiting with reporting and operational responsibilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and work effectively with hiring managers
  • Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to support and work across recruiters (not a siloed structure)
  • Ability to quickly learn Tracking Management System
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Stable work history with reasonable tenure (no consistent job hopping)
  • Must be able to provide professional references upon request

Position Responsibilities

  • Sources, screens, and performs preliminary interviews on potential candidates
  • Coordinates site interviews with appropriate hiring manager to select qualified candidates for project specific requirements and make contingent employment offers based on federal/state law
  • Manages assigned employment requisitions including reviewing, editing, and final approval of completed requisitions
  • Tracks and reports data on staffing plan processes using computer software programs that may include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software databases
  • Assists in building and managing Employment Staffing Plans by entering information related to employment and hiring requirements
  • Builds and updates job descriptions based on project and scope of work
  • Coordinates and conducts redeployment initiatives (proactive communication with employees prior to anticipated end date)
  • Conducts operational and administrative portions of the hire process (background checks, drug screen, health screen, I9 compliance, E‑Verify compliance, employment paperwork, site specific requirements)
  • Serves as point of contact for portion of employment process for internal partners at the job site (Lead for processing or portion of recruiting efforts)
  • Directs work of subordinate Talent Acquisition Specialists and/or Recruiters and provides input to performance evaluation discussions
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • PHR or SHRM‑CP
  • Knowledge of employment laws/compliance
  • Experience in: Administration, Customer Service, Human Resources, Industrial Construction and/or Nuclear Industries
