About the Role

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will serve as a strategic talent advisor supporting our Assurance service line and portions of our Advisory and Corporate Shared Services service lines. In this role, you will partner closely with hiring leaders, Talent Deployment, and People & Culture stakeholders to build proactive talent pipelines, advise on market conditions and workforce planning, and drive hiring outcomes aligned to business growth priorities.

Success in this position is defined not only by the ability to deliver exceptional hiring outcomes, but also by proactively building and nurturing long-term talent relationships, developing scalable sourcing strategies, and creating predictable access to high-quality talent within highly competitive professional services markets.

Responsibilities

Recruitment Marketing & Talent Community Engagement

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team on recruitment marketing campaigns, talent community engagement, and employer brand initiatives that strengthen Cohen & Co's visibility in the market
  • Support relationship-driven recruiting efforts through referrals, alumni engagement, silver medalist engagement, and long-term talent community development
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience through proactive communication, timely feedback, strong relationship management, and a high-touch recruiting process

Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Own proactive, full-cycle recruiting for complex Assurance, Advisory, and Corporate Shared Services roles, leading talent strategy from pipeline development through offer acceptance
  • Build and maintain always-on talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, talent community engagement, referrals, and long-term relationship cultivation
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for both immediate hiring needs and future projected talent demand
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance sourcing strategies, outreach approaches, and recruiting processes to strengthen hiring outcomes and improve scalability
  • Operate with clear accountability to pipeline health, outreach activity, conversion metrics, hiring outcomes, and long-term talent relationship development

Market Intelligence & Workforce Planning

  • Partner with hiring leaders, Talent Deployment, and People & Culture stakeholders to align recruiting strategy to business growth priorities, workforce planning needs, and utilization demands
  • Serve as a trusted market advisor by developing deep understanding of talent landscapes, competitor activity, hiring trends, and candidate market dynamics within professional services
  • Maintain accurate recruiting and pipeline data to support visibility, operational reporting, workforce planning, and performance measurement
  • Leverage recruiting technology, AI-enabled sourcing tools, CRM/candidate engagement platforms, and talent insights platforms to scale sourcing activity, improve pipeline visibility, and increase recruiting efficiency

Network Expansion & Market Presence

  • Develop and maintain strong external market presence through networking, industry engagement, relationship-building, and participation in recruiting &/or professional services events
  • Build strong internal relationships and maintain regular engagement with business leaders, hiring teams, and service line stakeholders to strengthen recruiting partnership and business acumen

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-8+ years of recruiting experience within professional services, accounting, consulting, financial services, or agency recruiting environments supporting professional services talent
  • Proven success proactively sourcing and building pipelines for highly competitive or niche talent markets
  • Experience acting as a trusted Talent Advisor, partnering closely with business leaders to drive hiring strategy and outcomes
  • Strong consultative approach with demonstrated ability to build credibility, influence stakeholders, and operate as a strategic business partner
  • Strong external networking and relationship-building capabilities with demonstrated ability to develop long-term talent communities and passive candidate relationships
  • Strategic, proactive, and highly relationship-driven mindset with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
  • Strong communication, organization, and talent assessment skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, operate with urgency, and drive results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience leveraging recruiting technologies, sourcing platforms, CRM/candidate engagement tools, and AI-enabled recruiting tools to improve scalability and recruiting effectiveness
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Insights, CRM/candidate engagement platforms, and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Workday Recruiting experience preferred
  • Experience supporting hiring across multiple business lines or specialized professional services talent markets
