Our client, a rapidly expanding organization, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Human Resources team in Victoria, British Columbia, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to extending offers and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. You will play a critical role in attracting top-tier talent across various departments, building a strong employer brand, and implementing innovative recruitment strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in high-volume and niche recruitment, coupled with exceptional candidate engagement and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute full-cycle recruitment processes for diverse roles.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments.
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline through networking and relationship building.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide expert advice.
- Extend job offers and negotiate employment terms.
- Champion the company's employer brand and promote a positive candidate experience.
- Utilize and optimize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate data.
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of HR policies and procedures related to talent acquisition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition and recruitment.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring for a variety of technical and non-technical roles.
- Expertise in using various recruitment tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Professional HR or recruitment certifications are a plus.
