This leading semiconductor company urgently seeks a Senior Technical Application Engineer for their technical and customer support group based at their R+D Centre in Munich.

The Senior Technical Application Engineer will be working as part of a small, high calibre, team supporting video interface software and hardware products including highspeed SerDes products to both external and internal customers. This will include writing software in C, C++ and Python to control instrumentation aimed at emerging automotive technologies and also some reference design development too. The Senior Technical Application Engineer will be working closely with the embedded software and hardware teams and also as a contact point for customers based worldwide.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or similar.
• Several years of experience supporting customers and colleagues integrating new products into customer development projects.
• Hands-on skills should include a good knowledge of the SerDes architecture coupled with C, C++ and Python programming experience.
• You will be happy working with Lab instruments (oscilloscope, interface analysers, etc.) and any exposure to PCB development or 3D Field Simulation (EM, CST, HFSS) would be beneficial.
• Candidates need to be fully authorised to work in the EU and also need to speak fluent German and English.
