Our Challenge

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst with proven experience in Appian to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, leveraging their expertise in Appian BPM platform to analyze, design, and implement solutions that enhance business processes and operational efficiency.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Piscataway, NJ is $110K - $120K/year & benefits (see below).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for process automation and system improvements.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization using Appian.
  • Design, develop, and configure Appian applications, including workflows, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver scalable Appian solutions.
  • Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support deployment activities.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Appian applications.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, vendors, and business users to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Stay updated on new features and best practices for Appian to ensure effective utilization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Extensive hands‑on experience with the Appian BPM platform.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling, workflow design, and enterprise architecture.
  • Familiarity with system integration, APIs, and data management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Certifications, but not required

  • Appian Certified Associate Developer or higher.
  • Business analysis or project management certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP).
